Job Description

As part of our growth, we are looking for a skilled HR Manager to manage recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee engagement while ensuring a motivated and productive workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all verticals
  • Develop effective hiring strategies to ensure timely staffing
  • Conduct employee on boarding and orientation programs.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

2. Payroll & Compliance

  • Maintain attendance records and manage salary processing.
  • Ensure legal compliance, including labor laws, health cards, and employee documentation.
  • Keep all HR records and contracts up to date.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Address employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work culture.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations and assist in career development.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and workplace satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
  • Employee Communications: Develop and implement employee communication strategies to ensure effective communication throughout the organization

4. HR Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain and update HR databases and records.
  • Prepare HR reports using Excel for attendance, payroll, and staff performance tracking.
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in all HR processes.

5.Strategic HR Initiatives:

  • Propose and execute new initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Introduce innovative programs for training, career development, and performance management.
  • HR Metrics and Analytics: Develop and track HR metrics and analytics to measure HR effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

Experience: 5 years+ in HR, preferably in media and entertainment

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel (HR data management, payroll tracking, reporting).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in HR matters.

Preferred Candidate: Female candidate based in Kochi, willing to work from the office
