Reporting to : Administratively to Unit Head & Functionally to Corp Head Environment, Health & Safety. (EHS)
Qualification
Essential B.E. /B. Tech / Diploma - Mechanical or Electrical Eng, or BSC & Adv Dip in Industrial Safety from Govt Technical Board.
Desired Degree/ Diploma in Environment management
Experience Candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience as leading/ independent role at Plant level in medium size organization.
Job Profile:
This position is responsible for Developing and Establishing the Safety, Health and Environment procedure based as per set standards, ensure to comply with all EHS applicable Regulations/ Consents/ Permissions, maintain HSE procedure implementation through internal audits, assessments reviews and maintain operational excellence framework system and procedures.
Implementation of Environment & Safety Management System.
Facilitate Management & Line managers for effective implementation of Safety, Environment
Establish Occupational Health Management System along with Safety Subcommittee functioning
Ensure timely Regulatory compliances for obtaining licenses related to Environment, Safety and OHC
Prepare site specific procedures for Safety and Environment
Implementation of mitigation plan through risk analysis
Facilitating the use of tools/techniques by employees and continuously evaluation for its effectiveness.
Selection of appropriate PPEs based on the hazards by conducting the hazard assessment and job/risk exposure
Ensure all legal compliance are up to date
Liaison with Government officials
Develop and implement site specific Waste Management plan for all types of waste, as per legal and Best Basic Condition requirement
Facilitate and execute SHE awareness campaign and motivational programmes in form of events
Analysis and compilation of results for presenting to the Management
IMS & Sustainability Compliances
To ensure implementation and monitoring of Safety Management System in plant, observe safety practices on site, organize & coordinate the safety requirements, conduct Safety events, trainings, audits, compile safety data, comply with all related legal compliances, ensure to align unit safety practices with Safety Standards.
Implement IMS & Standard compliances and related actions within time frame for improved sustainable performance of Unit
To prepare site specific procedures for sustainability standards
To ensure integration of IMS procedures & standards
Guide, audit, monitor and review the departmental action plans for EMP, OHSAS MP and other audit findings for the Unit.
Training & Awareness
Planning & implementation of annual training calendar related to EHS for increased employee awareness and to bridge the gap of identified training needs for stakeholders
Promote trainings for cultural transformation to adapt ABG level safety standards
Impart trainings for new entrants
Develop and train cross functional team members in Site Emergency Response Team
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and Review of Sit Emergency preparedness systems
Prepare site specific procedures to ensure safe and secured work environment for all stakeholders.
Ensure mock drills are conducted at regular intervals and gaps identified and arrested
Conduct trainings on emergency preparedness
Legal compliances
Timely submit the renewal applications and obtain Permissions, Consents, Licenses, Renewals
Peoples Development
Facilitate skill gaps mapping & training needs of individual workmen for safety.
Subordinate development
Undertake culture building initiatives on EHS front at organization level.
Ensure harmonious relationship with Government Official and surrounding community to improve organization image
Liaison and keeping good rapport with various Govt. Offices & private bodies like Health & Safety, NGO, politician, Advocates, etc
TPM/ WCM & Sustainability Initiatives Implementation
To ensure that TPM/WCM standards for safety are rolled out at plant as per standard framework.
To facilitate & implement operational efficiency drives at shopfloor level.

Age -25- 35 years.
CTC 3.5 LPA to 7.5 LPA, CTC Not a constraint for suitable candidate.
Candidate should not be frequent job changer.
