Sr. Consultant – BFSI Management

About the Team

You will join Firstsource’s Management Consulting practice, a collaborative, high-performance team that blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Our consultants work across sectors to co-create solutions with clients, leveraging cross-functional expertise and a culture of continuous learning.

Role Summary

As an Associate Principal, you’ll lead end-to-end BFSI engagements—covering digital banking, credit-risk transformations, insurance claims optimization, and regulatory program management—driving strategy, delivery, and client growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership:

  Manage full project lifecycle—scoping, design, execution, and deployment—across BFSI domains (retail banking, corporate finance, insurance operations).

• Strategic Solution Design:

  Develop digital and operational frameworks—core-banking migrations, IFRS 9 models, policy-administration systems—and build GTM roadmaps.

• Client Relationship Mining:

  Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities—new digital channels, risk-monitoring tools—and support proposal development.

• Regulatory Program Management:

  Oversee Basel III/IV, IFRS 17 readiness programs; coordinate with compliance and audit teams.

• Financial & P&L Ownership:

  Track engagement profitability; manage budgets and resource utilization.

• Practice & People Development:

  Mentor mid-level consultants; contribute to BFSI methodologies, case-study development, and sector thought leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

• MBA or advanced degree with strong BFSI focus.
• 8+ years of consulting or industry experience in banking/insurance projects.
• Proven success in BFSI transformations and regulatory programs.
• Strong financial acumen and proposal-writing expertise.
• Excellent communication, client-management, and leadership skills.
