Sr Accountant & SME (CA Intern Mandatory) (Night Shift)

Position: Senior Accountant (SME) — On-site, India Role & Responsibilities - Lead month-end close activities: post journal entries, reconcile ledgers, prepare trial balance and deliver timely financial statements for clients. - Manage GST, TDS and other statutory filings — prepare schedules, coordinate with external tax teams and ensure timely compliance. - Perform bank, vendor and intercompany reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances to maintain clean books. - Act as the SME for accounting policies and internal controls — define procedures, implement corrective actions and support SOX/compliance reviews. - Coordinate statutory and internal audits: prepare working papers, respond to auditor queries and implement audit recommendations. - Collaborate with payroll, procurement and operations teams to manage payments, accruals and month-end cut-offs for multiple client accounts. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting with 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience in India (service/consulting or shared services preferred). - Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations and statutory reporting (GST/TDS). - Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Preferred - Exposure to audit coordination, SR/SOX controls and experience working with external auditors. - Prior experience in a staffing/Manpower services firm; CA-intermediate or full qualification is a plus.
