Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to clients and internal teams by troubleshooting SQL-related issues, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving SQL database incidents and providing proactive support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, query errors, deadlocks, and connectivity problems.
• Analyze, debug, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Work closely with application developers and system administrators to identify and fix database-related issues.
• Monitor SQL Server performance using tools like SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, and Query Store.
• Manage backup, recovery, and security configurations.
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and root cause analysis reports.
• Provide timely updates to customers and ensure SLA compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and handle escalated incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Must have 2-5 years experience in SQL Queries
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, indexing, query optimization, and database design.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and related tools.
• Understanding of Windows Server environments and network connectivity.
• Familiarity with backup and restore strategies, high availability, and replication.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or scripting for automation.
• Certification such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or MCSA: SQL Database Administration.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹37,500.00 per month
