Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SQL Developer with 3-6 years of experience to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability. You will work closely with other developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Optimize SQL code for performance and scalability.
• Design and implement database schemas and tables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
• Perform data migration and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through testing and validation.
• Document database designs and code.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL Server technologies and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of proven experience as a SQL Developer.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL language (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar).
• Experience with database design and normalization.
• Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica).
• Knowledge of database administration tasks (e.g., backups, restores).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Experience with specific database platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
