Job Description

Responsibilities

Implement query optimization and performance tuning techniques to improve database efficiency.
Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes for efficient data processing.
Strong expertise in SQL for database such as SQL Server, Postgres.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and MS SQL architecture, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
Hands-on experience with SQL and SSIS packages.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with tools for database monitoring, backup, and recovery.
Utilize open-source tools and libraries to enhance database functionality.
Work with cloud-based database solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and implement cloud best practices.
Collaborate with backend developers, software engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate databases with applications.
Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for database management.
Debug and troubleshoot database performance issues, connectivity problems, and system failures.
Work with Microsoft .NET applications to support backend database integrations.
