SQL Developer

Role Overview: You will be joining a dynamic and high-impact firm as a SQL Developer. Your primary responsibility will be to engage application teams in onboarding their applications to Information Governance tools. You will play a crucial role in explaining the IG program and requirements to the assigned application teams, answering their questions, and following up or escalating when teams are non-responsive. Additionally, you will be responsible for submitting firewall requests, configuring data connections in the IG tools, and triggering scans. Key Responsibilities: - Engage application teams in onboarding their applications to Information Governance tools - Explain the IG program and requirements to assigned application teams, answering their questions - Follow up or escalate when application teams are non-responsive - Submit firewall requests as needed and configure data connections in the IG tools - Trigger scans - Understand basics of multiple database technologies (SQL, Oracle, PostGres, Mongo, etc) to connect the IG tools to application databases - Possess good systems knowledge of databases, firewall, and connecting to various databases - Utilize basic development and SQL skills - Write simple to medium complex queries - Work with data analysis Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience as a SQL Developer - Strong SQL development skills with the ability to write SQL code - Working experience in data classification/data governance tools - Good understanding of multiple database technologies - Basic development and SQL skills - Experience in writing simple to medium complex queries - Experience in working with data analysis - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Ability to work independently, deliver tasks as per plan, and drive work while leading conversations - Quick learner with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Please note, there are no additional details about the company provided in the job description.
