About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior PL/SQL Developer with proficiency in Java to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with 4 to 7 years of experience in database development and application support. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database-driven applications, primarily utilizing Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms & Reports. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work remotely, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to high-impact projects that require technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development. A strong background in Oracle Forms & Reports is essential, along with good knowledge of Core Java for backend support and integration tasks. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of relational database concepts, performance tuning, and SQL optimization techniques. Experience working with Oracle database versions 10g, 11g, or 12c is required. Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies is preferred, along with excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support application requirements.
• Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Forms & Reports, ensuring they meet business needs and performance standards.
• Enhance existing applications by implementing new features and troubleshooting production issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical specifications, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Support backend development and integration efforts using Java, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Ensure data integrity, application security, and compliance with organizational standards and policies.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards and knowledge sharing.
• Support deployment activities and post-production maintenance to ensure continuous system performance and stability.
