Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the Western Banquet department. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels and restaurants.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing high-quality menus for special events and functions.
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Conduct quality control checks on food presentation and taste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and hygiene practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
