Position Overview:

As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our restaurant by overseeing multiple outlets and managing kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will span from menu development to staff supervision, inventory management to customer satisfaction, and everything in between. You will be the driving force behind culinary creativity, operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Craft and curate a diverse menu that reflects a fusion of continental and Indian cuisines, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
• Food Preparation: Ensure all food items are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, maintaining consistency across all dishes.
• Supervision: Lead and inspire a team of kitchen staff, including chefs, helpers, and kitchen stewards. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Inventory Management: Manage food and supplies inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels to support seamless kitchen operations.
• Cost Management: Implement strategies to control food costs by monitoring portion sizes, minimizing waste, and optimizing ingredient usage.
• P&L Forecasting: Develop and manage kitchen budgets, providing accurate forecasting and generating monthly Profit & Loss reports.
• Health and Safety: Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and food handling practices.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff, keeping them informed about the latest culinary techniques and practices, and fostering their growth.
• Customer Service: Elevate the dining experience by ensuring all dishes meet or exceed customer expectations in terms of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Menu Engineering: Analyze menu item performance and make informed recommendations for menu adjustments to optimize profitability and enhance the culinary journey for our guests.

Skills and Experience:

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Head Chef in a similar high-end restaurant setting
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Profound knowledge of various cooking techniques and expertise in Indian and Continental cuisines
• Innovative mindset to create new and captivating dishes
• Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

Salary Range:

Rupees 40000 to 45000 per month.
