How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Summary/ObjectiveThe primary objectives are to effectively manage sourcing activities, ensuring optimal performance in terms of quantity delivered, service level to the customers, regulatory compliance, cost, etc.The person leads the sourcing activity by understanding the product availability from Primary plants and close coordination with Bulk logistics and other users (Eg. On-sites) and fulfill the gap from external sources. He shall do the product swapping through a long term contract with 3rd party sourcing vendors or competitors. This entails coordinating and optimizing the efficiency of Bulk product sourcing while maintaining and conducting controls to uphold the quality of Bulk products.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Establishing tactical sourcing programs, which encompass negotiations and organization of products supplies from external / internal and sister companies abroad.
- Coordinating emergency supply deliveries and overseeing special operations.
- Analyzing all logistics flows, with support from the Bulk Supply Chain Manager, to identify potential optimization opportunities and efficiency projects.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine the causes of malfunctions, such as claims or Dry Outs, that are related to delay in deliveries from product sourcing.

Enforces Air Liquide's safety and quality standards
- To ensure Zero Fatality & Zero accident at site. He/She shall be responsible for sourcing LOX, LIN, LAR and LCO2.
- Report all deviations, unsafe behaviors, unsafe situations, near misses, and accidents, incidents in the defined incident report format to AL India Safety.
- To log all incidents/accidents & support in investigation of RCA for required incidents/accidents & closer identified actions in time pertaining to his / her responsibility.
- Informs and controls that HSE procedures (IMS, Road Safety and Local regulations) are implemented and followed.
- HSE & HR Policies of company
Sourcing activities
- Optimizes the efficiency of sourcing Bulk products and control of it.
- Contributes to the establishment of strategic and tactical sourcing programs in order to Production Vs Demand.
- Collaborates with internal and external suppliers to develop strategic sourcing initiatives, including long-term supply contracts, from the inputs from Primary Plants.
- These activities are planned on a quarterly / month time scale.
- Conducts tactical sourcing activities on a weekly or daily basis, working closely with stakeholders responsible for managing emergencies such as supply interruptions and peak demand.
- This includes coordinating user (Ex: CFS or on-site) back-up solutions and managing plant outages.
- Participates in negotiations for competitor contracts agreements for product swapping.
- Engages in negotiations with local and foreign product suppliers to secure agreements with competitors.
- Maintains a strong network with counterparts in other companies to enhance responsiveness to sourcing emergencies and unplanned product shortages.
- Supervises inventory management and monitors product demand.
- Organizes product balancing to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet demand requirements.
- Coordinates sourcing activities between primary sites and external suppliers.
- Coordinates supply process of products from competitors and sister companies abroad.
- Optimizes the quantities sold to competitors through Swap contract.
- Ensures that product suppliers maintain high reliability and meet quality standards, focusing on product purity and reliability.
- Coordinate with Bulk Logistics Manager in case of product transportation through AL tankers.
- No dry-out due to non-availability of product.
- Consistent improvement in product sourcing
- Reduction of INR/SM3, KM/Ton in product sourcing.
- No Quality complaint from customers
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepares inventory reports and shares them with identified loading points.
- Oversees the quality of Bulk products through quality documentation.
- Monitors and evaluates quality control analyses based on documentation related to sourcing activities.
- Purchase order to be issued on time and follow-up with the concerned person to complete the booking in EPIC for the payment.
- Coordination with Finance to ensure the payments on time and do the reconciliation between Vendor and AL Finance

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
A well qualified graduate with preferably with Management qualification, 3-5 years in Gas/ Chemicals/ Petroleum/Procurement Transportation/ Logistics organizations
