We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer/Senior Sales Officer to join our team in Jorhat, focusing on the Wood Coatings segment within a leading paint manufacturing company. This role is critical in driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening relationships across the dealer network and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting wood coatings through targeted activations, product sampling, training initiatives, and strategic collaboration with retail, project, and service teams. With a focus on building long-term customer engagement and identifying growth opportunities among specialized stakeholders such as furniture manufacturers, this position is central to achieving business objectives and maintaining a competitive edge in the construction chemicals industry, particularly in waterproofing and flooring solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support and empower the dealer network to achieve sales value and volume targets for wood coatings.
- Organize and execute market activations, product sampling, and training sessions for contractors, applicators, and other key stakeholders.
- Expand the wood coatings distribution network by collaborating with retail, projects, and services teams to share and leverage leads.
- Identify, target, and engage with specialized stakeholders such as furniture manufacturers who exclusively use wood coatings.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Maintain accurate sales records and report performance metrics regularly.
Requirements Requirements:
- 3 7 years of proven experience in sales within the construction chemicals industry.
- Strong understanding of waterproofing and flooring products and applications.
- Demonstrated experience in driving sales growth through dealer network management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to organize and lead product training sessions and field activations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
