Software Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Objects (BO) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BO and a proven track record of delivering high-quality business intelligence solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, Oracle data base, SQL Server, reporting, and analytics.

What will your job look like?

1. Report Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SAP BO reports and dashboards. using Design Studio (1.6) .
• Should have experience in designing complex applications with: multiple tabs, multiple queries on a single screen, list and cross-tab reports, charts, hyperlinking.
• Perform analysis, design, implementation and support of WebI reports and Dashboard with RDBMS and SAP BW backend.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Experience in creating and managing universe with

  Information Design Tool (IDT)

  in SAP BO

System Administration:

• Manage and administer the SAP BO environment, including user access, security, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Provide ongoing SAP Business Object Production Support including enhancement of existing reports, monitoring periodic jobs and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge and expertise of SAP BO CMC tool (Scheduling, Promotion, Authorizations, etc.)

User Support and Training:

• Provide support to end-users for report generation and troubleshooting.
• Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP BO tools.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reports, dashboards, and processes.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest SAP BO features and best practices.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and systems.
• Experience in latest migration for SAP BusinessObjects (BO) upgrading from

  BI 4.2 to BI 4.3 or BI 2025

All you need is...

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects development and administration.
• Proficiency in SAP BO tools such as Web Intelligence and Universe Design er.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP HANA or other SAP modules.
• Knowledge of other BI tools and technologies.
• Certification in SAP BusinessObjects.
• Respond and deliver ad-hoc requests for information and analysis.
• Excellent communication, documentation, organization, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong analytical, programming, communication and interpersonal skills Business oriented, results-oriented, and self-driven and customer service minded
