Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements gathering, design, coding, code review, testing, and production rollout.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using [primary technology stack: e.g., Java / Python / Node.js / .NET + React].
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, or backend services depending on the team’s architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: product managers, QA, DevOps, UI/UX designers.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix production issues.
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to design discussions and system architecture decisions.
• Document technical designs, code, and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior engineers (as needed) and help grow the engineering team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience:

  3-7 years (adjust based on your level) in software development.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of:

  Java, Python, C#

  , or

  JavaScript / TypeScript

• Experience building backend systems / microservices.
• Good understanding of databases — both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of software development best practices: code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication skills — able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring / logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Prior experience working in hybrid / distributed teams.
• Experience in domain [if relevant – e.g., fintech, e-commerce, SaaS].
