Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

Interpret and implement application, feature, or component designs as per specifications.
Code, debug, test, and document development stages for assigned modules or features.
Select appropriate technical options — reusing, improving, or reconfiguring existing components, or building new solutions as required.
Ensure adherence to
coding standards
, templates, and engineering processes.
Conduct
peer code reviews
to ensure code quality and compliance.

Design & Architecture

Contribute to high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) designs and data models.
Present design options and technical solutions to customers and stakeholders.
Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Create and review
unit test cases
, scenarios, and test plans.
Perform
defect root cause analysis (RCA)
and trend analysis to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure successful validation and integration.

Project & Release Management

Estimate efforts for development, testing, and debugging activities.
Manage the delivery of modules and user stories within schedule and budget.
Oversee
release execution and deployment
processes.
Ensure compliance with configuration management and version control standards.

Customer & Stakeholder Interaction

Clarify requirements, demonstrate product features, and gather feedback.
Conduct customer demos and present technical solutions confidently.
Build strong relationships with customers by meeting deliverables with quality and timeliness.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Set
FAST goals
for team members and provide regular feedback.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Manage team motivation, collaboration, and engagement in project activities.

Knowledge Management & Continuous Learning

Contribute to project repositories, reusable assets, and technical documentation.
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices.
Pursue relevant certifications in domain or technology areas.

Key Skills & Competencies

Core Technologies:
Java, Golang, Spring Boot, AWS
Additional Skills:
Microservices architecture, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes (preferred)
Soft Skills:

Domain Knowledge:

Qualifications
