Primary Responsibilities In this ASDE role, you will be responsible for performing coding, unit testing and ensuring conformance to the team s development process and standards. This includes: Perform Coding and unit testing Adherence to coding standards Communicate effectively with other engineers/ QE and onshore team Support the QE team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications Fully encourage and facilitate high quality code through of support QE team efforts and writing/executing automation tests as needed Working with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities Adhere to proper use of source control Ensure delivery of technical artifacts for each project Support opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with Core Java/ J2ee (Spring, Hibernate, MVC) Hands-on experience with any of the IDE (IntelliJ/Eclipse/RAD etc.) Experience in Subversion, GIT & Maven Experience of working in Agile environment React JS experience (with a hands-on with Angular JS/Node JS a plus) Knowledge of J Query / JSP / HTML5 / CSS Knowledge of Microservices Knowledge of Web services - Restful Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives Good working knowledge of SPRING Framework & Spring MVC Good understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts services & MySQL DB Very good in development of applications using Spring Core, Spring JDBC, Rest Web Preferred Qualifications B.E / B. Tech / MCA / MSc / MTech (16+ years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant) 2+ years of experience working with Java/J2EE technologies in full stack development Hands-on experience with Rest based web services Knowledge of Spring Boot, RabbitMQ & JBoss Knowledge of SDLC processes Good working knowledge in SPRING Framework Proven good debugging and troubleshooting skills Proven good communication and presentation skills Proven good attitude and self-motivated At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
