Role Overview

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs for our hiring, networking, and training platforms.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and AI/ML teams to integrate and deploy new features.
Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance across all backend systems.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code with proper documentation and test cases.
Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues across various environments.
Implement RESTful APIs and micro services-based architecture.
Integrate third-party platforms and APIs (e.g., video, analytics, communication tools).
Work in an Agile/Scrum development cycle, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
Contribute to backend architecture and technology stack evolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2 to 5 years of professional backend development experience.
Strong command of backend programming languages such as
Go
and
Python
.
Hands-on experience with frameworks like
Gin
,
Django
, or
Spring Boot
.
Expertise in
RESTful API development
,
database design
, and
ORMs
(e.g., Sequelize, SQLAlchemy).
Experience with both
SQL (PostgreSQL)
and
NoSQL (MongoDB)
databases.
Knowledge of
Docker
,
Kubernetes
, and
CI/CD pipelines
.
Solid understanding of
authentication and authorization mechanisms
(OAuth2, JWT).
Familiarity with cloud platforms like
Azure
and
AWS
.
Good understanding of
software security best practices
and
data privacy
compliance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in working on AI/ML integrated platforms or HRTech/EdTech platforms.
Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
Knowledge of message brokers like
RabbitMQ
,
Kafka
, or
Redis Pub/Sub
.
Exposure to GraphQL and WebSockets is a plus.
Understanding of DevOps practices and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
