Role Title

Software Engineer (1–5 years)

Location & Employment Type

• Full‑time, on‑site in Mumbai

Role Description

As a Software Engineer at Faze, you will join a fast‑growing team and contribute across the entire product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and build new features
• Maintain and optimize existing web and mobile applications
• Debug issues, write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve performance, scalability, and user experience
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
• Support CI/CD pipelines and dev‑ops tasks on AWS

Core Technical Skills

• PHP (Laravel) OR React.js/Next.js
• Experience building and deploying applications on both backend and frontend
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and state management

Additional Technical Skills

• Kotlin (Android development)
• Swift (iOS development)
• GoLang
• Solid knowledge of cloud services, with demonstrable AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 1 to 5 years of professional software development experience
• Prior work at early‑stage startups or entrepreneurial environments is a plus
