Software Engineer (1–5 years)

• Full‑time, on‑site in Mumbai

Role Description

As a Software Engineer at Faze, you will join a fast‑growing team and contribute across the entire product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and build new features
• Maintain and optimize existing web and mobile applications
• Debug issues, write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve performance, scalability, and user experience
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
• Support CI/CD pipelines and dev‑ops tasks on AWS

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Flutter apps (iOS + Android) using

  Dart

  and modern Flutter patterns.
• Translate product and design requirements into well-tested, maintainable code.
• Implement state management, navigation, and offline support as needed.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Ensure app performance, responsiveness and adherence to platform guidelines.
• Write unit/widget/integration tests; participate in code reviews and releases.

Must-have skills

• Practical experience developing production apps in

  Flutter / Dart

  .
• Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, performance optimizations and platform differences.
• Experience with state management (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, GetX, etc.).
• Knowledge of integrating REST/gRPC APIs, local storage and push notifications.
• Familiar with CI/CD for mobile builds, signing and release processes.
• Good debugging skills and test coverage mindset.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach.

Nice-to-have

• Native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) experience.
• Experience with animations, custom UI and platform channels.
• Familiarity with Firebase, analytics and crash reporting tools.
• Experience publishing to App Store / Play Store.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–5 years building mobile apps with Flutter in production.
