As the SDM for AB Customer Data Platform team, you are a key member of our tech leadership, driving the development of robust, scalable, and user-friendly data annotation platforms that integrate seamlessly with other AB services. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of AB customer acquisition and engagement We are looking for a leader with strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and a passion for creating tools that empower customer data platform. As a technical leader, you'll architect and deliver sophisticated Data Products and AI solutions that will reshape how AB teams make decisions. Key job responsibilities

Be Scientific: As the owner of the system that produces that data that powers customer acquisition, registration and engagement, it is important to ramp up on and understand the needs of all the client teams.

A day in the life As a software development manager on this team, you will play a pivotal role in the following:

Work with the team and stakeholders to help drive business decisions.
Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions to drive service optimization, cost, and security.
Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables
Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of engineering experience
3+ years of engineering team management experience
8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
