As Software Development Engineer - III (SDE - III) - Frontend, you will be part of self-starters who thrive on teamwork and constructive feedback. We know how to party as hard as we work! About the role

As our SDE - III (Frontend), you will create an amazing product experience for users. You will also build responsive web design and web UX patterns. You will collaborate with other engineers to build delightful user experiences. You will also understand and resolve customer pain points as well as ensure the consistency and quality of our product.

What you will do

    • Own end-to-end feature development, from ideation to production release.
    • Co-own the frontend tech roadmap — contribute to technical direction, identify key investments in tooling, performance, and architecture, and help align it with business goals.
    • Architect and develop highly scalable, maintainable, and performant web applications.
    • Lead frontend performance optimization efforts, ensuring best practices in web performance, rendering, and page speed optimizations.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following best coding practices.
    • Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver an exceptional user experience.
    • Conduct thorough code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
    • Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, browser compatibility issues, and other critical frontend challenges.
    • Ensure best practices for infrastructure management related to frontend applications, including build pipelines, CI/CD, caching strategies, and asset management.
    • Implement responsive and accessible designs with a keen eye for UX/UI consistency.
    • Mentor and upskill frontend developers through regular knowledge sharing, pairing, and technical sessions.
    • Implement and advocate for frontend security best practices, including XSS prevention, CSPs, and secure coding standards.

What you will need

    • 5 to 8 years of experience in building and shipping web applications.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with React.js, including React hooks, Context API, and component-based architecture.
    • At least 3 years of experience with Node.js, building and maintaining scalable frontend applications.
    • Proficiency in TypeScript, ensuring type-safe and maintainable codebases.
    • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and event handling.
    • Expertise in frontend performance optimization, including debugging tools, Lighthouse audits, caching strategies, and lazy loading techniques.
    • Deep understanding of browser behavior, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility challenges.
    • Hands-on experience in advanced CSS and responsive design techniques.
    • Experience working with Git for version control and managing large-scale frontend projects.
    • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
    • Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, or similar).Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex production issues efficiently.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

    • Experience working with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
    • Familiarity with CDN strategies and frontend caching mechanisms.
