This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Architect in India.
In this role, you will act as a technical cornerstone, designing and shaping robust software architectures that support complex, data-driven environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and clinical needs into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. The position offers strong ownership across the full software lifecycle, from design to optimization and long-term evolution. You will operate in a collaborative, global setting where quality, reliability, and performance are critical. With a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies and database excellence, this role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in highly regulated, mission-critical systems. Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and evolve scalable and secure software architectures using .Net and C# technologies
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, including complex stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams across the software development lifecycle
- Enforce best practices for code quality, security, data integrity, and system reliability
- Contribute architectural insights informed by experience in regulated or data-intensive domains
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on SQL Server database design and development
- Deep hands-on expertise with the Microsoft stack, including .Net, C#, and SQL Server
- Strong experience designing high-performance, scalable, and maintainable systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience in pharmaceutical, clinical, or similarly regulated environments is a strong advantage
