Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead NutriCo’s digital growth and manage the day-to-day marketing team. This role is for someone strategic, insightful and commercially driven, a leader who can generate ideas, guide execution, and consistently achieve targets.

You will own NutriCo’s social media, digital marketing strategy, performance, team direction and results, ensuring all activity aligns with brand positioning and commercial objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Strategy, Leadership & Growth

• Own and execute NutriCo’s end-to-end marketing & social media strategy.

• Translate business goals into clear plans, KPIs and performance targets.

• Lead, manage and develop the Marketing & Social Media Team, ensuring clarity of roles, priorities and output.

• Foster a results-driven, ideas-led marketing culture.


Team Management & Execution

• Manage junior and mid-level team members across content, performance and digital channels.

• Set weekly priorities, review output, and ensure deadlines and standards are met.

• Provide guidance, feedback and performance management.

• Identify skill gaps and support hiring needs as the team scales.


Performance Marketing

• Oversee paid channels including Meta, Google, TikTok and affiliates.

• Ensure campaigns are strategically planned, tested, optimised and scaled.

• Own budgets, ROAS targets and performance reporting.


Content, Brand & Organic Growth

• Direct organic growth across Instagram, TikTok, email and on-site content.

• Work closely with creative and content teams on campaigns, launches and storytelling.

• Ensure consistent, credible and aspirational brand messaging across all channels.


CRM, Retention & Lifecycle

• Lead email marketing, lifecycle flows and retention strategies.

• Improve customer loyalty, repeat purchase and lifetime value.

• Ensure CRM activity is data-led and commercially effective.


Insights, Reporting & Accountability

• Monitor performance across all channels and team outputs.

• Use insights to inform decisions, improvements and next steps.

• Confidently report results, learnings and recommendations to leadership.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Commercial and Sales, and collaborate with other departments and the Leadership Team to support company-wide goals.

• Ensure marketing activity aligns with stock, launches and operational capacity.

• Act as a key marketing stakeholder within the wider business.


Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)

Applicants must meet all mandatory criteria listed below to be considered for this role.


Industry Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing.

• Proven experience managing and leading a marketing team.

• Strong background in e-commerce and retail.

• Industry experience in beauty, wellness, health or nutrition.

• Demonstrated ability to own strategy and deliver commercial results.

• Strong analytical thinking combined with creativity.


Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong understanding of e-commerce growth funnels (acquisition → conversion → retention).

• Proven expertise across paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok, affiliates).

• Strong knowledge of SEO, CRO and on-site optimization.

• Experience managing CRM, email marketing and lifecycle flows.

• Confident use of analytics and reporting tools (e.g. GA4, ad platforms, dashboards).

• Ability to plan, execute and optimise multi-channel campaigns.

• Strong commercial acumen — understands revenue, margins and ROAS.

• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications.

• Relevant digital marketing certifications are an advantage but not essential.

• Equivalent practical experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.


Preferred Experience

• Experience in beauty, wellness, health, nutrition or lifestyle retail.

• Background in DTC or marketplace e-commerce environments.

• Experience working in a scaling or founder-led business.

• Proven track record of leading and developing marketing teams.

• Experience balancing brand-building and performance marketing.

• Familiarity with regulated or claims-sensitive industries (supplements, wellness, health).
