Job Title: Assistant Manager, Social MediaLocation: IndiaReports To: Senior Brand ManagerDepartment: MarketingEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a creative, analytical, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Social Media to support the executionof our social media strategy for Fossil Brand. This role will assist in managing daily social media activities, contentcreation, campaign planning, performance tracking, and community engagement to drive brand awareness,engagement, and growth across all platforms.Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing the social media strategy to align with overall marketing goals Manage daily posting, scheduling, and content planning across all major social media platforms (e.g.,Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) Coordinate with design, content, and marketing teams to create engaging text, image, and video content Monitor social media channels for trends, engagement opportunities, and feedback Supervise the social media agency Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and content Support paid social media campaigns, including setup, monitoring, and reporting Assist in influencer collaborations and partnerships Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, best practices, and platform updates Liaise with internal departments, external vendors and partners. Should be a team player and excel in building a goodrapport within as well as outside the organization. Must be able to deal with regional and global teams as perprotocol for various day to day plans & reportsQualifications: Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing Strong understanding of all major social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite,Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative mindset with the ability to craft compelling content Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus Previous experience in brand building or working with influencers Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environmentJob Location
