Social Media Executive

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube).
• Work closely with the marketing team to align content with brand campaigns, product updates, and seasonal trends.
• Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely execution of posts, reels, stories, and carousels.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions).
• Respond to community comments, DMs, and engage with relevant conversations.
• Research trends, competitors, and platform updates to suggest fresh creative strategies.
• Coordinate with design/creative teams for visuals, videos, and motion graphics.
• Support in influencer collaborations and paid campaign execution.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, startup, or agency.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube).
• Knowledge of current trends, reels/shorts formats, and platform algorithms.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone as per platform.
• Analytical mindset to track KPIs and optimize campaigns.
• Team player with strong communication and coordination skills.

Tools & Skills (Must-Have)

• Scheduling & Management:

   Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite

• Analytics & Reporting:

   Google Analytics, Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics

• Design & Editing:

   Canva

• Video/Shorts Editing:

   CapCut

• SEO & Hashtag Tools:

   SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar (for keyword/hashtag research)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to SaaS, tech, or startup social media handling.
• Basic knowledge of paid ads (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads).
• Ability to ideate meme marketing and trend-driven campaigns.
