Social Media Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop engaging multimedia content (images, videos, reels, stories, etc.)
• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions; respond and engage with the community in a timely and professional manner
• Track and report on social media metrics, campaign performance, and audience insights using tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to recommend improvements
• Assist in planning and executing influencer collaborations or partnership campaigns
• Support paid social advertising campaigns with creative input and performance monitoring
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all platforms

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 1–2 years of experience managing social media accounts (personal projects, internships, or freelance work may be considered)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut)
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later)
• Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics)
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics, trends, and storytelling
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with video editing or short-form content creation (e.g., Reels, TikToks)
• Knowledge of SEO and how it relates to social content
• Experience with influencer or brand collaboration management
