Sales Executive –( Lock & Security Solutions ) Department: Showroom Sales Location: — Kolkata ( Homeland, Avani Riverside Mall; Park Street ; Narendrapure) The Lock & Security Solutions Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and promoting security products and services—including mechanical locks, smart locks, access control systems, CCTV, alarms, and integrated security solutions. This role requires strong technical understanding, customer-focused communication skills, and the ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in assigned markets (commercial, residential, industrial, institutional). Develop and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting, lead generation, cold outreach, and networking. Conduct product demonstrations and present security solutions to clients, architects, contractors, facility managers, and distributors. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and bids according to client needs and technical requirements. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and channel partners. Provide consultative guidance to help clients choose the right lock and security solutions. Follow up on post-sales support, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions, issues, and escalations. Technical Knowledge & Product Expertise Understand features, benefits, and installation requirements for mechanical and electronic lock systems. Stay updated on trends in security technology (smart access, IoT, biometrics, cloud-based systems). Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate system design and implementation. Communicate technical specifications clearly to non-technical buyers. Market, Reporting & Coordination Analyze market trends, competitor products, and pricing to position the company effectively. Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and prepare regular sales forecasts and reports. Work with operations, marketing, and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Attend trade shows, industry events, and training sessions to strengthen market presence. Required Qualifications-

2–5+ years of sales experience in security solutions, hardware, construction materials, building technology, or related fields. Strong understanding of lock systems, access control, and electronic security technologies (or willingness to learn). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to interpret technical specifications and project drawings (advantage). Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling to contractors, integrators, property managers, or security firms. Knowledge of brands such as ASSA ABLOY, Yale, Dormakaba, Schlage, HID, Honeywell, Bosch, etc. Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho. Background in security integrators, locksmithing, or hardware distribution is a plus. Key Competencies-
