ServiceNow Lead


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end ServiceNow delivery projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Serve as a functional consultant for multiple ITSM assignments, aligning business processes with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Handle the integrated setup of various tools, including monitoring, service management, and dashboarding solutions.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle for ServiceNow, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and operational support.
  • Perform configuration and customization of the ServiceNow system, including workflows, business rules, script includes, and other platform functionalities.
  • Provide general support, administration, and maintenance for the ServiceNow platform and its applications, including ITSM, ITOM, and CSM.
  • Monitor and administer ServiceNow Discovery processes to support CMDB and software asset management.
  • Develop custom reports and applications, and use scripting tools (JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, XML) to automate routine tasks.
  • Handle team management and customer-facing responsibilities, providing solutions to various customer requirements and supporting business development.
  • Perform user account administration, governance, and license tracking.
  • Work with IT management to align the ServiceNow platform with the overall IT strategy.
  • Provide backup support for other team members on activities such as system upgrades, patching, and regression testing.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of

    5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end ServiceNow projects and managing a team.
  • Extensive experience with

    ServiceNow ITSM and CSM

    is a top preference, followed by

    ITOM.

  • Deep functional consulting experience in multiple ITSM assignments.
  • Expertise in

    ITIL/ISO 20000

    frameworks and their application.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations and integrations.
  • Proficiency in server-side and client-side scripting (JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, XML).
  • Experience with web services integrations using

    SOAP and REST.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent project and people management skills with a strong customer-handling background.
  • Familiarity with other ITSM solutions like Remedy or Salesforce is a plus.

Prerequisites

  • ITIL certification

    and

    ServiceNow certifications

    (Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Application Developer) are highly preferred.
  • Ability to efficiently manage travel within India and internationally as required by business needs.
