Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
  • Customize and configure ITSM modules – Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Build and manage Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer logic.
  • Design Service Catalog items, workflows, and approvals.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
  • Participate in the implementation of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping (if applicable).
  • Perform platform upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to coding and security standards across the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, admins, and business analysts.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and ITIL/ITSM processes.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, GlideRecord, UI Actions, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Experience developing catalog items, custom applications, and portal widgets.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Notifications, and Reports.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
