Job Summary

As a member of our Delivery Services organization, the ServiceNow Developer position is a technical role responsible for providing hands on development and solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform. The position contributes to the structuring, implementing secure solutions, scalable and maintainable solutions in OOTB as well custom applications delivered to the customer.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Serve as the technical resource in the development team for projects especially Integrations and CMDB
  • Define technical solutions at an architectural and design level of detail that align with our client’s business problems and follow standard methodologies for ServiceNow Implementation.
  • Major experience in ITSM, ITOM, Discovery
  • Understand customer requirements, translate to solutions, and communicate to clients
  • Write/estimate user Stories and maintain overall quality and delivery of development
  • Responsible for Sprint demos and delivery of additional development artefacts, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Help mentor junior developers in relation to technical design standards and implementation
  • Perform research into technology partner or other vendor solutions in context of client requirements for integration
  • Contribute to improving Delivery Services processes and advancing the various portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and standard methodologies to meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the team
  • Ensure all time is recorded accurately and keep calendar up-to-date with scheduled activities
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • At least 2 CIS certification – current or within 6 months of hire
  • Knowledge of ITIL, minimum Foundation level, ideally higher.
  • Experience with key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including Azure DevOps, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
  • Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc.
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Active listening skills, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input while demonstrating good communication skills (written, interpersonal, and presentational)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership in solving business processes and/or technical problems and relay that in English and not just IT jargon
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts
  • Superior maturity, professionalism, and judgment; ability to excel with minimum supervision
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 5+ years working on the ServiceNow platform
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
