Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Commissioning:

  • Install and configure CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Access Control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Perform regular maintenance and diagnostic checks on existing systems. Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve faults to ensure the systems are functioning correctly.
  • System Integration:

  • Integrate CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Access Control systems with other security systems and technologies, such as alarm monitoring or building management systems.
  • Customer Support & Training:

  • Provide on-site customer support, answering questions and providing guidance on system operation. Offer training to customers on how to use and maintain their security systems.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service reports. Ensure all work is documented according to company protocols.
  • Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Troubleshooting & Emergency Response:

  • Provide on-call support and respond to urgent requests for repairs or system failures, especially in critical situations (e.g., fire alarm malfunctions or CCTV outages).

Skills and Qualifications: Any Degree or Diploma

Experience:

2 to 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Access Control Systems.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with security system components, including IP CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, fire alarm panels, detectors, access control panels, and related hardware and software.

Problem Solving:

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.

Electrical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of electrical wiring and circuitry, and familiarity with relevant electrical standards.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction, reporting, and collaboration with other team members.

Driver’s License (Preferred):

A valid driver's license is typically required, as the role involves traveling to client sites.
