Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and manage installation projects for CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Access Control systems.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare project timelines, resource plans, and material requirements.

Installation Supervision

• Oversee installation and commissioning activities performed by technical/service teams.
• Ensure installations follow industry standards, system designs, and client specifications.
• Verify quality of work at each stage of the project.

System Design & Integration

• Assist with system layouts, device placement, wiring diagrams, and integration plans.
• Integrate security systems with BMS, fire panels, and monitoring platforms.

Client Communication & Coordination

• Act as the primary contact for clients during project execution.
• Communicate project progress, technical details, and timelines.
• Maintain client satisfaction by managing expectations appropriately.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare project reports, as-built drawings, handover documents, and material usage reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all installations comply with safety protocols, electrical standards, and company guidelines.
• Conduct final inspections and ensure systems are fully operational before handover.

Team Leadership

• Guide and support technicians and service engineers during project execution.
• Provide technical support to ensure proper implementation of project plans.

Project Issue Resolution

• Identify project challenges and implement quick, effective solutions.
• Address site issues, material shortages, or technical problems to prevent delays.

Skills and Qualifications

(Any Degree or Diploma)

Experience

• 2 to 3 years in project execution for CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, or low-voltage systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of IP CCTV, NVR/DVR, fire alarm systems, detectors, access control devices, and integrations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs, wiring diagrams, and project layouts.

Project Management Skills

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Understanding of project timelines, resources, and risk management.

Problem-Solving

• Strong analytical skills to resolve site-level issues quickly.

Electrical & Networking Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, LAN, and IP configuration.

Communication Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication for client interaction and reporting.

Driver's License (Preferred)

• A valid driving license is an added advantage for site visits and client coordination.
