Job Description

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and dedicated CNC Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Fiber Laser Cutting Machines, VMCs, and CNC Turning Machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, hands-on experience with CNC systems, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service. Key Responsibilities:🛠 Installation & Commissioning:Install CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines, VMCs, and CNC Turning machines at customer sites. Perform machine alignment, leveling, calibration, and test runs. Train operators and end-users on machine functions, safety, and basic troubleshooting. 🔍 Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues. Diagnose alarms and faults using diagnostic tools and manuals (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.). Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance. 🔧 Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance, part replacements, and system checks. Create and maintain service logs and maintenance schedules. Recommend spare parts and improvements based on machine usage and wear. 👥 Customer Support:Provide on-site and remote technical support. Coordinate with the technical team for escalated issues. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and efficient service. Skills & Qualifications:Education: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Instrumentation. Experience: 2–5 years in CNC servicing, especially: Fiber Laser Cutting Machines (e.g., Bodor, Han's Laser, Trumpf, Bystronic). VMCs (Vertical Machining Centers – Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi controls). CNC Turning Machines (single/twin spindle, live tooling preferred). Technical Skills: Strong understanding of CNC controllers and PLCs. Knowledge of fiber optics, laser sources (IPG, Raycus), and motion systems. Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer interaction. Willingness to travel frequently. Problem-solving and time management skills. Preferred:Experience in service documentation and report writing. Exposure to automation systems (robotics, conveyors, nesting software). Basic programming skills (G-code, M-code) and CNC parameter setting.
