Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, conducting repairs, and ensuring seamless installation and configuration of systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer support while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repair Perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure equipment reliability. Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical malfunctions. Conduct repairs and calibrations to restore optimal system performance. Troubleshooting Analyze error codes, diagnose complex issues, and identify root causes. Provide both on-site and remote troubleshooting support. Customer Interaction Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. Deliver training on equipment operation and maintenance. Manage customer expectations and provide timely updates. Installation & Configuration Install and set up new equipment at customer sites. Configure systems to ensure proper functionality and performance. Reporting & Documentation Maintain detailed service and maintenance records. Document all repairs, installations, and technical activities. Prepare reports for internal use and customer reference. Additional Responsibilities (as applicable): Parts Management: Order and manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely service. Quality Control: Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during service activities. Project Management: Coordinate service projects, manage timelines, and assign tasks to technicians. New Product Implementation: Support product launches with technical expertise and customer training. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation) or related field. Strong technical background with hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Proficiency in computer systems and software applications. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites. Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: 20,000 to 25,000
