THE OPPORTUNITY

Senior UI Engineer

4–7 years of experience

Agentic AI products

Key Responsibilities

• UI Development & Leadership
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and responsive web interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce UI best practices, coding standards, and design consistency.
• Technology & Implementation
• Build modern front-end applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services with front-end systems.
• Optimize UI performance for speed, accessibility, and cross-device responsiveness.
• Code Quality & Reviews
• Lead UI code reviews to ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Advocate for component reusability, modular design, and performance optimization.
• Innovation & Research
• Stay updated on emerging UI technologies, design systems, and frameworks.
• Champion UI/UX improvements and contribute to XenonStack’s design system.
• Collaboration & Delivery
• Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure reliable deployments.
• Ensure a seamless bridge between design, engineering, and product requirements.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4–7 years of experience in UI development with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, Material UI).
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of UI performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite).
  

Good-to-Have

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Exposure to AI/ML or data visualization frameworks (D3.js, Chart.js).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small UI teams.
