Join us as a Senior Tagging Developer at Barclays, where you'll work with marketing, data, and journey owners in ensuring high quality data is available across Barclays digital estates for the purpose of reporting, analysis, optimisation and targeting. You will be using various tracking tools and will support different teams using different frameworks. The shortlisted candidate is expected to own delivery of BAU Tagging demands leveraging existing standards and frameworks. You will be part of the Data Enablement team whose mission is to transform Barclays' data-driven capability - ensuring our capability in engaging customers with the right message, at the right time, using the appropriate channel.
To be successful as a Senior Tagging Developer you should have experience with:
- At least one Tag Management System such as Tealium, Adobe Launch, Ensighten, etc
- At least one Digital Analytics platform such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.
- Basic knowledge of Front-End Technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, etc.
- Server-side implementation of analytics data collection solution

Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
- Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
- Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
- Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
