About the Role

SQL Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain
T-SQL scripts
,
stored procedures
,
functions
,
views
, and
triggers
.
Design, schedule, and monitor
SQL Server Agent Jobs
for automation and data processing.
Create and maintain
reports
, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Monitor and tune database performance using indexing, query optimization, and execution plans.
Ensure
data integrity
,
security
, and
backup/recovery
processes are implemented and followed.
Perform
database deployments
, manage schema changes, and support integration with other systems.
Work with
Microsoft IIS
to configure and maintain web applications that depend on SQL Server or SSRS.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including SQL Agent failures and report errors.
Document database objects, jobs, and report processes for internal reference and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–5 years of experience with
Microsoft SQL Server
(2016 or later).
Strong knowledge of
T-SQL
, stored procedures, and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
.
Experience managing and scheduling
SQL Server Agent Jobs
.
Basic understanding of
Microsoft IIS
, web hosting, and application pool management.
Proficient in
database security
, user permissions, and backup/restore operations.
Exposure to
Windows Server administration
and
PowerShell/batch scripting
is a plus.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
