Fusion Release Engineering is a Central team responsible for release management of entire fusion applications. This is an exciting opportunity to apply and develop analytical and technical skills in the fast growing and dynamic field of Release Engineering. This role requires development and advanced operational expertise to manage the delivery of software systems based on a variety of technology components in a manner which provides the maximum reliability and minimum downtime to our customers and processes. Your responsibilities within this role will include (but not limited to):
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Designing, developing and delivering automated build systems providing critical services for Database creation, upgrade, configuration and improvement
- Working closely with Oracle Development teams, Quality Assurance, Operations and Product Management teams in order to improve product development standards and processes
- Conducting highly complex build and database related issue analysis, resolution and driving solutions to mitigate future potential risks
- Collaborating as part of team to bring about improvements in development practices, lifecycle and quality
Skills And Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of related professional experience in software development across the full software life-cycle including design, implementation, testing, operations and maintenance
- Experience with development, deployment and production support of a Cloud-based solution on Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or OpenStack
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, and participating as a Scrum team member
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment
- Strong development experience in atleast 2 programming languages (Java/ C++/ Perl/ Python)
- Working experience of Database development (ideally on Oracle, RDBMS and PLSQL)
- Working experience in Web development
- Working experience in Git
- Need system level knowledge of Linux
- Experience configuring, deploying on Apache and weblogic

- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with proven success in contributing in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, working with technical and non-technical peers, as well as management
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Self–motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Additional details:
- BS/MS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or a related engineering field and 3+ years of experience as a software developer
- Occasional travel may be required

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
