Who We Are Looking For:

Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities1. System Design & Architecture

Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and secure backend services
Make architectural decisions for new modules and help evolve our existing codebase
Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions

2. Feature Development & API Engineering

Build and maintain APIs that power data ingestion, clinical workflows, ML model execution, and third-party integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI, data, clinical, and product to deliver high-quality features end to end
Ensure performance, resilience, and observability across services

3. Mentorship & Code Quality

Review code, mentor junior engineers, and help establish best practices for development, testing, and deployment
Champion clean, well-documented, and testable code
Contribute to team rituals, design reviews, and architectural planning sessions

4. DevOps & Infrastructure Collaboration

Work closely with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD, secure deployments, and environment scalability
Participate in technical incident resolution and postmortems
Help define SLOs, monitoring standards, and performance baselines

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on backend development
Strong proficiency in
Python
(preferred),
Go
, or
Node.js
Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with microservice architectures
Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS), Docker, and event-driven systems
Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB)
Track record of delivering scalable, production-level systems with clean architecture and testing discipline

Desired Qualities

Prior experience in healthcare, insurance tech, or other highly regulated domains
Familiarity with HL7/FHIR, EHR systems, or healthcare interoperability APIs
Experience with asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ, SQS) and caching layers (e.g., Redis)
Interest or exposure to AI/ML model integration and data pipelines
A mindset focused on reliability, privacy, and performance
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across engineering, product, and design
