Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Senior Category Manager to lead and drive sales growth across Kerala in the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) segment. The role requires strong expertise in building markets, managing key accounts, solving challenges, and achieving business targets. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with excellent problem-solving skills, strong client relationship management, and a track record of delivering results in competitive markets. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales and business development across Kerala in the D2C segment. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration. Travel extensively across Kerala to manage field sales, client meetings, and market reviews. Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance benchmarks. Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing insights to management. Ensure timely reporting, forecasting, and sales data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, finance) for smooth execution. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings. Tackle operational and market challenges with effective problem-solving and decision-making. Build, manage, and grow a strong team capable of delivering results. Required Skills & Knowledge: Strong background in D2C sales models. Proven ability to handle large sales territories and multiple business verticals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of handling challenges independently. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a sales team. Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala. Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 7–10 years of proven experience in D2C sales. Kerala market knowledge is essential. Highly adaptable, results-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
