Job Description

Senior Sales Executive Residential Solar

Position:

The Senior Sales Executive – Residential Solar will be responsible for driving rooftop solar sales, managing end-to-end customer conversions, and supporting the growth of the residential solar division.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

Generate leads through field visits, referrals, housing societies, builder networks, and digital platforms.
Provide accurate product knowledge and technical understanding of solar systems.
Prepare and submit proposals, BOQs, financial reports, and agreement documents.
Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and roof feasibility.
Present customized solar solutions and financial benefits (ROI, payback, savings).
Follow up on leads, quotations, and proposals to ensure timely closures.
Close deals with strong negotiation and communication skills.
Stay updated on solar policies, DISCOM guidelines, and subsidy schemes.
Identify new markets, partnerships, and customer segments.
Provide feedback to management for product, pricing & marketing improvements.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proven experience in Residential Solar Sales (must).
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of solar rooftop systems, net metering, and subsidy processes.
Ability to handle field sales, customer visits, and on-site assessment.
Target-oriented, self-driven, and willing to travel locally.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, CRM tools).

Qualifications

Graduation/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred)
MBA in Marketing
Minimum 3 years of experience in rooftop solar sales
