We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our Risk Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and assessing the potential risks that could affect the organization. This role involves leveraging data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for mitigating risks and ensuring the company's financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements. What You'll Do: Conduct thorough risk assessments by analyzing data and identifying potential risks to the organization. Develop and implement risk management strategies and models to predict and mitigate potential risks. Monitor and report on risk exposure and the effectiveness of risk management practices. Collaborate with various departments to understand and address their risk-related concerns. Create comprehensive risk reports and present findings to senior management. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management and analytics. Utilize statistical software and risk modeling tools to analyze large datasets and generate insights. Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of different risk factors. Set up cooling periods, velocity checks on week 0 to identify bad actors and to comply with regulations Building risk scoring mechanism for users Set up chargeback procedure with payment gateway providers Review internal loan accounts to improve credit policy for digital loan products Manage the portfolio for multiple lenders, which consists mainly of Secured and unsecured loan products What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred Proven experience in risk analysis, risk management, or a related field Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python) and data analysis tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred Skills : Familiarity with Credit bureau datasets. Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PRM (Professional Risk Manager) are a plus. Familiarity with database management and SQL. Show more Show less
