Job Description

Position:

Overview:

Manual Tester

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze business requirements to develop detailed test cases and scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for multiple modules.
Identify, document, and manage defects through tools such as
Jira
.
Execute manual test cases to verify platform stability and data accuracy.
Validate data integrity and calculations, especially related to ESG and carbon reporting.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain test reports, logs, and documentation.
Support
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
and participate in release validation activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–5 years of experience in
manual testing
of web-based applications.
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science
,
Information Technology
, or a related field.
Strong understanding of
SDLC
and
STLC
processes.
Proficiency in preparing clear and detailed
test plans
,
test cases
, and
bug reports
.
Familiarity with QA tools such as
Jira
,
TestRail
, and
Excel
.
Experience with
cross-browser
and
responsive design
testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to
ESG
, sustainability, or environmental data systems.
Basic
SQL
knowledge for data validation.
Experience in
API testing
using
Postman
or similar tools.
