Job Description

🔧 Job Opening: Senior Production Engineer

📍 Location: Chakan, Pune

🕒 Experience: 5 to 9 years

🏢 Company: PPAP Automotive Limited

Key Responsibilities:

Establish QA system aligned with TS, documentation, record, formats and reports.
Establish process audit and product check system for meeting quality standards.
Care and calibration system for gages, fixtures and inspection instruments.
Issue resolution in plant and customer end. Customer connect for month ranking.
Connect with PPAP group plants for ensuring OK receipt material.
Training, development and evaluation of QA team.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
Experience:
5 to 9 years in automotive or manufacturing industry, preferably in quality or production engineering.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of
TS/IATF 16949 standards
.
Familiarity with
QA tools
(APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
Knowledge of
5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
and
problem-solving techniques
.
Experience in
process audits
and
customer quality management
.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP or similar ERP is a plus.
Communication:
Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Leadership:
Ability to lead and train QA teams, manage cross-functional coordination.
