Overview:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using C# and Selenium WebDriver
Implement and manage API test automation using tools like RestSharp or Postman
Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data in SQL Server
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, QA analysts) to ensure product quality
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent tools
Analyze test failures, debug issues, and provide root cause analysis
Create and maintain automation test documentation and test result reports
Mentor QA team members and review their test automation code

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in QA Automation, with 7+ years using C# and Selenium
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model)
Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest
Proficiency in API testing (REST), using tools such as RestSharp, Postman, or HttpClient
Experience in writing complex SQL queries and validating data against UI/API results
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Experience with test reporting tools (e.g., ExtentReports, Allure)
Exposure to BDD frameworks like SpecFlow is a plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Azure Test Plans
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
