Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for Telecom domain applications.
• Lead and guide a team of test analysts, ensuring adherence to testing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java/Python.
• Perform risk analysis and prioritize testing efforts based on impact and complexity.
• Create and manage test cases, test scripts, and detailed test reports for each project.
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Execute API testing using Postman and validate endpoints via REST API calls.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to enhance collaboration between QA, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure the delivery of high-quality releases within project timelines.
• Continuously optimize and enhance automation coverage and testing processes.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, technologies, and trends to drive innovation within the QA practice.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience in automation frameworks (hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
