Job Description

UFT Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute
automated test scripts
using
UFT
.
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
(e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Perform
functional
,
regression
, and
integration testing
.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
Prepare detailed test reports and document all testing activities.
Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to ensure test coverage.

Mandatory Key Skills:

UFT / QTP Automation Testing
– Hands-on scripting and execution experience.
VBScript Programming
– Strong coding skills for test script customization.
Test Framework Design
– Keyword-driven, data-driven, and hybrid frameworks.
ALM / Quality Center Integration
– Test management and defect tracking.
CI/CD Integration
– Experience with Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
(Optional but preferred)
Basic SQL & API Testing Knowledge
– For end-to-end validation.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT or related field.
Certification in HP UFT or Test Automation Tools (preferred).
