Job Description

Job Title – Senior QA engineer

The Purpose of This Role

At the level of Lead QA engineer, you are seen as an individual having strong technical chops, understanding our systems, and having emotional intelligence for our customers is a given. You have a consistent record of successfully delivering projects which had a positive impact on our systems, product, team, and customers. You are well steeped in the eMoney culture and values. will be working in Quality assurance and ensuring the delivery of high quality, timely and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment which meet functional and non-functional business requirements. we are looking for a strong test engineer who fill this position to support eMoney- Functional QA position who has a solid understanding of process, application and who is obsessed about high quality software.

The Value You Deliver

Following are the roles and responsibility expectation of a software engineer for this position

Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain test scenarios, test cases for the features and help develop test scripts required for system testing, integration tests, functional tests
Take ownership of deliverables from the QA standpoint and be the evangelist of high-quality software
Use your experience and knowledge to influence bug prevention strategies, testability and security
Deliver outstanding solutions that are both efficient and performant
Can work with supervisor to plan tasks and estimate their completion.
Can adapt to changing conditions and mentor others through change.
Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
Ability to create and maintain documentation wherever vital
Should be innovative and works as collaborator with Scrum team
Analysis, Test case Design, Test Planning and execution with coding standards
Prepare scope documents, test plan and Validation plans.

The Skills And Expertise We Are Looking For

Experience in testing, development methodologies, Testing Life cycle, Mobile testing and Accessibility testing
Good understanding of the Web application development life cycle.
Extensive experience in Functional Design and Test preparation, test management tool - Quality Center/Jira.
Strong experience in driving testing initiatives and integration testing
You have the drive and ability to deliver software with a high degree of accuracy and Ability to blend development with testing by participating in quality efforts. We consider software quality is ensured through prevention rather than detection.

The Skills that are Good To Have for this role

Strong proficiency in testing of Restful Web services
Strong Proficiency in Docker containers, Cucumber tool & Mobile testing
Exposure to automated testing of Restful Web services
Proficiency in professional practices and methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, Code Reviews, Refactoring Techniques)
Strong proficiency in Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy

It offers advisor tools and client tools, as well as advisor brand media solutions. In addition, the company provides Lead Capture, an interactive online workflow designed specifically for financial advisors to attract, engage, and qualify leads through their online marketing efforts; customer support services; and training through classroom, Web, and its eMoney university. It serves broker dealers and insurance companies, as well as a network of independent RIAs, individual financial advisors, and planning professionals.
