Job Title: Senior Purchase Executive Location: Ahmedabad Department: Procurement Company Overview: Corrtech International Limited is a leading engineering and infrastructure company operating in the oil & gas, water, and energy sectors. We specialize in pipeline construction, horizontal directional drilling, and related turnkey services across India and abroad. Job Summary: As a Senior Purchase Executive , you will be responsible for managing procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, vendor development, and inventory planning. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services necessary for project execution. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for materials, machinery, and services related to pipeline and infrastructure projects. Procurement Operations: Handle end-to-end procurement from requisition to delivery, ensuring quality and timely supplies. Negotiation: Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure competitive procurement. Vendor Management: Evaluate vendor performance on parameters like quality, cost, delivery, and service; maintain approved vendor list. Inventory Control: Coordinate with the stores and project teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding stock-outs or overstocking. Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation such as purchase orders, contracts, GRNs, and invoices. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements. Coordination: Liaise with project, finance, logistics, and QA/QC departments for smooth operations. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new products relevant to the pipeline and engineering sectors. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or relevant field (MBA in Supply Chain preferred) Preferred Experience: Prior experience in pipeline construction, oil & gas, or heavy engineering procurement Hands-on knowledge of statutory and import regulations (if applicable) Ability to handle high-value procurement independently Compensation: As per industry standards and based on experience. 10–15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in infrastructure or EPC industries Strong negotiation and analytical skills Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP) Familiarity with technical specifications of construction/pipeline materials Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
